Key Competencies

This term we have introduced 'Tickets' for children to earn.
These 'Tickets for Success' are based on the 5 Key Competencies.

Relating to Others 'Turuturu Communicator'
Listen to others, share  ideas, cooperate,
understand different points of view.

Managing Self  'Turuturu Tactician'
Show a 'can do' attitude, set and monitor goals and plans,
be reliable, be resilient.

Thinking 'Turuturu Thinker'
Reflect on your learning, ask questions, show you are curious,
make good decisions.

Using Language Symbols and Texts 'Turuturu Learner'
Learn fast accurate recall of basic facts,
learn to write as well as you can,
learn to read as well as you can,
show progress and achievement across the curriculum.

Participating and Contributing 'Turuturu Team'
Consider others, get involved in your class, school & community,
be confident, give things a go.
